HTC partners with Keeper Security; Password Manager will come out of the box on some HTC devices
Keeper Security's Password Manager will be ore-installed on certain HTC handsets available later this year
It is a difficult question to answer, but one that HTC has tried to respond to for a long time. How do you differentiate your smartphones in a highly competitive industry? HTC tried to take on Samsung and LG with the HTC One (M7) and HTC One (M8) and it was things like the front-facing BoomSound speakers, and the unique design that made HTC a strong player those two years. Even the failed attempt at using Ultrapixels with the rear-facing duo Camera was an attempt to be different.
"Providing security on our devices is a top priority to ensure an optimal customer experience. Our partnership with Keeper will help protect our customers and make good password management easier than ever."-Paavan Avadhanula, AVP of Corporate Development and Partnership, HTC
We wouldn't be surprised to see this feature made available on the codenamed T50 and T55 Nexus handsets rumored to be under production by the manufacturer. The former is reportedly a phone with a 5-inch screen, while the latter is a second handset carrying a 5.5-inch screen.
