Yesterday, we figured that the HTC Touch.B/Rome was an Android powered device that gave a lot of credence to the HTC Passion story...

If this hideous thing goes to Verizon I'm sticking to my Droid. I hope passion doesn't look like that even though it does look similar the passion seems like it has a much slim/slik design

Hopefully Verizon's version of the HTC HD2 looks more like the actual HD2 (with Windows Mobile 7 OS) and not whatever worthless piece of plastic that this is. Btw...due to phonearena's constant "unofficial information" i'm under the assumption that the HTC Passion supposedly Verizon's version of the HD2...but the picture i seen wasn't very HD2'ish...at all. Anyway...more official info would be appreciated

The HTC Passion has similar specs to the HTC HD2. However its Android.

Sadly it's looking like it's less and less HD2-ish. The screen should be 3.7 instead of 4.3. The processor is supposedly going to be Snapdragon chipset, but could be clocked down to 800mhz like Acer's phone.

There are rumors that the pictures you saw of the "dragon" might possibly be the google branded "gphone". We will have to wait and see. They would obviously have to take the HTC logo off though.
