HTC Touch Pro2 and Ozone for Verizon gets WM 6.5 officially

And just like that, two of Verizon’s pre-Windows Mobile 6.5 smartphones are getting the upgrade treatment it deserves. Although an unofficial ROM update was released a few days ago, now HTC Ozone owners can download the official upgrade from PCD’s web site – it’s found to be the same build number found on the leaked ROM. Soon afterwards, Verizon also announced that one of their most popular Windows phones is also getting a new facelift to WM 6.5 – the always out of stock HTC Touch Pro2; bringing it up to the likes of the HTC Imagio. There are some nice enhancements that are found with the official update – OS upgrade to Windows Mobile 6.5, updated drivers to support Global edition of VZ Navigator, and some TouchFLO 3D Enhancements. Now that the HTC line on Verizon is completely up-to-date, there’s no reason why anyone should look over these handsets.

FINALLY! But that is good that the TP2 and the Ozone are up to date as both those phones are awesome and deserve the extra 6.5 boost.

Im still not convinced that this is Touch Flo 3D anymore. I flashed a few hours ago and can find nothing that states that it is TouchFlo. I find more options for Sense UI than I do for TF3D.

Better tell that to the guys on the VZW forum LOL They still dont believe it. They keep saying that Sense UI is only with Android devices.

Glad Sprint has their Touch Pro 2 up to date as well amirite guys lololol.. but seriously, always good to see my carrier (Sprint) 2 steps behind everyone else.
