You don't realize TV on mobile phones is old news for most of the world.

You are dumb enough to not realize 8MP is obsolete compared to the 12.1 and 13.2 MP cameras in Asia.

You still don't get it that front facing cameras are old and have been around for a long time.

yeah those 12.1mp and 13.2mp are probably Nokias that have an obsolete Symbian OS.. I'm in Asia often and many of them think they have a smart phone because they can take high quality pictures but nothing else...

You don't realize how obnoxious you sound.
You are dumb enough not to realize that no one cares what your opinion is re: cameras.
You still don't get it that those type of comments get old very quickly.

Guess what.... I'm not in Asia

Rawrzellers is a douche bag.

Oh by the way. Do your research. The human eye can't see anything above 8megapixels. Thus, the only reason to get more in a camera is to blow up pictures for editing and distribution. People who do this... Actually have a real digital camera. So its not a "bigger is better" idea here, why do it if there is no point? Answer, to shut people like you up. :)

You know what else Asia is full of? Asians! So quit whining and be glad for awesome phones here in the First World.

This is a glorified evo for Verizon.

9. Fred (unregistered) posted on 03 Jan 2011, 14:38 3

Thank you for that.... now considering Verizon has NO EVO...how is this a bad thing?

RAWRZELLERS....I agree with you, this country is so behind when it comes t the specs of phones, i cant under stand why the FCC holds back the evolution of phones when were 10 years behind the rest of the world when it comes to tech in phones.....

As I see you don't understand that understand is one word, its easy to realise why you can't understand it...

All this build up causes for high expectations, is this good or bad?

At the end of the day, it's just a phone.

12. cory (unregistered) posted on 03 Jan 2011, 15:26

doesn't have as much to do with the fcc as it does with the carriers if they offer you the next best thing today how will they get you to renew your contract tommorow! so in the land of the free the carriers tell you what phone you can have now!

Ummm, this has to be a dual core...think of it honeycomb's specifications, it needs at least a nvidea tegra 2 processor, and since its a new phone it should get honeycomb right?

Having a feature phone with a 13 mp camera and front camera does not make us behind. Ios and android were made in us and they are on the best phones

All of US made OSes suck. How crazy. Not.

16. PinkMirrorKirby (unregistered) posted on 04 Jan 2011, 07:53

Windows, Mac OS X, Unix and Linux are all made in US as well, please don't tell me you never used Windows before as that is US made OS.

The comment you posted are most probably using a US-made OS.

after reading the article and seeing it published else where, i know that at first glance this phone poses some pretty nice specs. also it is no intially set for verizon, in fact if u look at the antenia bands you might consider another carrier in its future.now verizon will get it but they are not set to get it first. do the research and check it out. i eagerly await this phone.
