HTC ThunderBolt to be offered for free from Verizon?

With a current promotion on the HTC ThunderBolt set to end on July 4th, rumor is that a new, bigger and more shocking promotion is coming from Big Red; How big? How shocking? Does a discounted Apple iPhone 4 at $150 do it for you? Well then, how about the HTC ThunderBolt for free?...

Don't buy into this bull s***. The thunderbolt was rumored to have gingerbread on June 30th and that screenshot was a bunch of crap.

OH I FORGOT ONE MORE.. iPhone PRICES ARE UNTOUCHABLE..
WELL BESIDES THAT 25% OFF OF 199.99 IS $50.. SO PRICE SHOULD BE 149.99.. WHERE'S THE EXTRA DOLLAR COMING FROM?? THEN IT'S 24.??% NOT 25%..

I must learn this newly invented word - tell us what it means, Phone Arena!!! It sounds so futuristicky.

I just purchased the T-Bolt yesterday (the 4th) ... if they drop it to free within the next 15 days ... I am sending it back ... cancelling ... and signing back up... or demanding a $200 credit (corporate discount of 20%).

@ John... Man, please, fix your keyboard's Caps Lock key. Since both of your posts were that way, I am assuming that your keyboard is defective... instead of you being defective.
@Better Not... Verizon does a price match/adjustment thing as long as it is within 14 days of purchase. So does Best Buy and Amazon. I am not sure about Wirefly and other retailers though.

Makes sense. Free phone so they can reel in the cash on their new tiered data.

With the problems the phone has. Why not OFFER it for free
No gingerbread on 30 June
Last OTA has put my phone in a constant reboot (10 times per day and that's when I'm looking at it---could be more)
4 hour battery life
Hot spot does not stay connected
No purpose for front facing camera---No Skype Video
MY Verizon App does not work
GPS takes over 5 minutes to load---says searching for GPS.....
So why not offer it for free vice charging $249.00 for a phone that doesn't work!

im not sure wat u r doing with ur TB.... skype leaked... so u DO have skype video... mine reboots rarely... GPS is normal to search for minutes.... and u have to check ur apps for battery life. get ridda QiK if u have it, or sign out. same with skype. improves battery 100% right there. i take mine off charger 8am. normal use and at 10pm i still have 30%. its about management.
