HTC Thoth (Athena 2) and Leo one and the same device?

We told you about the HTC Leo about a week ago and that it was expected to be a high-end smartphone in a clamshell form factor. Well, perhaps that´s not entirely accurate. According to wmexperts, it will probably be a MID (mobile internet device), similar to the HTC Advantage (better known as the Athena) and not a successor to the HTC Universal as speculated. Moreover, the same team claims the Leo is actually the same handset that we saw on the HTC´s launch list for 2009, namely the Thorn (Athena 2). Whether these guys are correct or not will become clear when we get an official announcement by HTC. So, what do you think? Are these actually one and the same handset?
