HTC Radar, HTC Titan to support an optional dock
The two Windows Phone Mango-powered HTC devices unveiled at IFA, the HTC Radar and HTC Titan, will support an optional dock allowing you to charge the handsets and use them as an alarm clock, and that would be good and all, but the dock houses the phone in landscape orientation and Microsoft’s platform doesn’t support landscape mode for the majority of the Windows Phone UI.

The solution? HTC came up with its own app to fix the problem. The application shows the date, weather, HTC multimedia apps including HTC Watch, and it also gives quick access to music and photos. It seems you’ll have to fire up the app yourself, but once you do that you’d be able to safely rest and charge your phone overnight.
