HTC Radar 4G caught on camera with T-Mobile logo printed all over

0. phoneArena 22 Sep 2011, 04:40 posted on

It seems like T-Mobile will be offering the HTC Radar in the US and will be marketing it as the HTC Radar 4G. The evidence for that is the set of spy shots that show the device carrying the carrier logo...

"he ā€œ4Gā€ suffix in the handset's title is, of course, justified by its 14.4Mbps HSPA radio."
That is not 4G ???

The Wave 3 also has 14.4 mbps, and that is not called 4G ?

Maybe it is the US carriers that are doing a bit of lying to their customers...

Hey, Peter, thanks for pointing that out! Yeah, there is a lot of marketing involved that blends the barrier between true 4G phones and the ones that don't quite make it that far.

This is completely devastating. I REALLY thought this phone would come to Sprint. When I heard one popped up in the states as branded a 4G device it just seemed like it would be Sprint since Sprint only has 1 windows device. It's really upsetting to see nothing but android on your lineup of phones.
