Everyone is waiting to buy the One series phones, so their profit is down is very normal. Hate to see any company isn't doing well though.

HTC still made 145million profit in Q1, and they have huge cash reserves(5-7 billion), so i'd say they're doing well.

the One will help but not a lot especially if samsung galaxy s3 came out and eat their market share again. samsung is just better at marketing and they always come out with phones that people like. and also samsung's mid range smartphone are hurting htc which have fewer phone line-up.

The one series are certainly a breath of fresh air but its a tough climb back up for htc as samsung have capitalised on their fall from grace. If the Samsung GS3 is a stunner this year htc might have it tough

HTC should have a big hit with the One series. Just hope that the specs and hype are good enough to get them at where they need to be. The EVO LTE will be a must have for nearly all of the other EVO owners on Sprint, so that should be a success. The One XL on AT&T might not be so lucky, though I could be wrong. The One S on T-Mobile should be a nice sell if they do the pricing correctly. Strange there hasn't been a word for any One series to be on VZW... They don't get too many phones from HTC, last good one was the Rezound.
