HTC PB92100 makes its entrance to FCC - expected to be a WM 6.5 phone for AT&T?
Highly unlikely to be a Windows Phone 7 Series smartphone, the HTC PB92100 has popped up its head over at the FCC which ultimately looks to be bound for AT&T. Even though all of the attention has been placed on the HTC EVO 4G that was unveiled only days ago, the HTC PB92100 quietly looks to pack on Windows Mobile 6.5 as the platform of choice as Microsoft's next-gen platform still is a way off from being complete. So far what's known about the handset that it's a GSM/EDGE device running on the 850/1900 MHz bands and support for both 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi & Bluetooth. The guesses are still up in the air as to what the device might actually turn out to become as more and more people are taking notice of HTC's actions – which is made quite evident with the out-pour of smartphones that the Taiwan based manufacturer has been able to pump out in just a short period of time.

Doesn't look like the HTC HD2 will be able to support AT&T's 3G band though.
