The Htc One definitely makes that Verizon Droid Dna useless. Thank God tmobile Htc fans are getting the BEST htc device yet. Even thou that Htc One X+ isn't bad either.

24. jove39 posted on 19 Feb 2013, 13:02 2

Don't think so...HTC will bring sense5 to droid dna and It should bring cheer to owners...for performance...krait 300 is just a rebadge of existing krait cores with higher clock...krait400 will improve performance significantly.

45. cmikeh2 posted on 19 Feb 2013, 16:54 1

Krait 300 brings IPC changes that have increased equivalent performance ratio by approximately fifteen percent. It's definitely not just higher clocked Krait 200.

It always happens this way , in late 2011 verizon got the htc rezound 1st 720p droid & then in early 2012 blasted away by one x . now the dna is receiving asimilar bashing from htc one .
I hope my htc butterfly can approach that number(if not equal it) once it's updated to sense 5 which seems to be a lighter version .

29. PhenomFaz posted on 19 Feb 2013, 13:15 12

No doubt this is the best looking phone I have seen to date...you gotta give HTC credit whre its due....they make the best looking phones....period!

50. rgxVOiD posted on 19 Feb 2013, 17:28 3

HTC one looks good? Its not bad but it looks like iPhone 5 had sex with Xperia P and some BlackBerry Z10 mixed

37. imkyle posted on 19 Feb 2013, 14:34 3

I have to disagree. The Dried DNA is still a beast of a phone. Hopefully this will get the sense 5.0 update and when that does, it will last you till 2014. Hell maybe even longer.

43. p5yb0rg (unregistered) posted on 19 Feb 2013, 15:35

they most likely won't update the DNA to sense 5.. it's all about sales and profits.. why update an older phone when they're promoting their newest cash maker.. take the poor one x for example.. it was promised sense 4+ which is running on the one x+, and probably will never see the likes of it.. ever. let alone JB on AT&T.

49. Twisted247 posted on 19 Feb 2013, 17:22

If it was up to HTC then MAYBE it would get updated. Like the J Butterfly may get.the update. But those who run Verizon are bastards, they are never looking out for their customers only their wallet. Now I'm not saying that the other carriers don't have their eyes on their wallets as well, BUT they atleast keep their eyes on their customers as well because they are what pad their wallets..

65. lyndon420 posted on 19 Feb 2013, 20:47 1

My One X (and no...it's not the One X+) is running Sense 4+ (and JB) through Rogers. Must be a carrier thing.

HTC why not the Snapdragon 803, or the S4+, or the S4 prime, with 3GB Ram, so multitasking will be much better than 2GB Ram, cause Android is, needs takes up lot of Ram, also benchmark would surplus 1500.....

56. HDShatter posted on 19 Feb 2013, 18:45 1

I have yet to see my phone go over 1gb of RAM without extremly heavy multi tasking. 2GB is enough.

2. darkskoliro posted on 19 Feb 2013, 12:23 10

If you put any trust in Quadrant scores you could use them to prove that dancing naked for 5 minutes in your garden affects device performance.

21. SonyFan posted on 19 Feb 2013, 12:56 10

benchmark doesn't say anything...you can optimize the cpu to make good in benchmarks at cost of performance...just my 2 cents

41. atsamman posted on 19 Feb 2013, 15:22

Plzzzzzz somebody tell me this is fake !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..... cause this makes every thing on the market right now look like a peice of s***t unf****n believable

And how the hell does it have a 10922 memory thats insane

57. HDShatter posted on 19 Feb 2013, 18:47 1

10922 seems like a glitch, lets wait and see.

6. aayupanday posted on 19 Feb 2013, 12:31 7

I bet that the smartphones coming in H2 of this year utilizing the Snapdragon 800 chipset will blow the roof of these benchmarks.

9. darkskoliro posted on 19 Feb 2013, 12:39 3

definitely :) but technology is always improving so theres no use dwelling over the future. (and im sure this soc is more than enough for anything)

7. jove39 posted on 19 Feb 2013, 12:35 5

cpu scores are 4x of my dual-core s4 on hox...for 2d and 3d scores I can't trust quadrant.

My dual core 1.5 ghz lumia with 1Gig of RAM got 913 on the sunspider test. How come this guys gets 1195 when its a 1.7 ghz quad? Do these benchmarks mean anything? do they make any difference at all?

15. blingblingthing posted on 19 Feb 2013, 12:49 11

Isn't sun spider a browser based metric value? Not so much a CPU value.

27. darac posted on 19 Feb 2013, 13:08 2

It's a Java script matter.
Microsoft browser is better optimized for it.
Expect the SS scores of HTC One to rocket with the new chrome release, or with some better browser

69. SleepingOz posted on 20 Feb 2013, 06:01

sunspider? really?

13. chaosnightmare posted on 19 Feb 2013, 12:46 13

14. KiranPAUSER posted on 19 Feb 2013, 12:49

Ultrapixel vs PureView.
There’s sensor size and then
there’s pixel size. It’s very
neat to see pixel size as a
feature. Imagine if Nokia did
that. Imagine a sensor as
huge as the one found in the
808 but reduced to 12MP?
Someone do the math of the
pixel size? Haha. Of course,
that would be a trade off of
over sampling.
I wonder what we’ll see at
MWC?

16. darkkjedii posted on 19 Feb 2013, 12:49 8

Bye bye Sammy gnote3. I think I want this.

28. PhenomFaz posted on 19 Feb 2013, 13:14 6

I beg to differ :)
This is a cool phone no doubt...but the Note 3 will probably launch with an overclocked Exynos 5 OCTA :) So I think I will hold my money for now :) More the S4 will be coming out with the Octa so....

Moreover this is a great phone as I said but its just that a phone...the Note has really spoiled its users...because the software optimizations which are unique to the Note series can only be found on a Note and not a phone...the Note is more than a phone :)

I'll hold my stock and I dont mean for the S4 but for the Note 3

31. McLTE posted on 19 Feb 2013, 13:31 2

Not a valid comparison at all. Why do the benchmarks matter so much in deciding between the Gnote and One? I have no idea what my Gnote2 benchmarks at.. what I do know is It does everything I want it to smoothly and flawlessly.

I think it's safe to say we've reached an era where benchmarks are not as important since the processers are getting to be so powerful that the performance gains are NOT noticable.

Another thing in regards to comparing it to the Note series.. totally different purpose. The question you have to answer is do you want a phone that has a 4.7" screen, or 5.5"+.

46. RORYREVOLUTION posted on 19 Feb 2013, 16:56 2

Nope sorry, after being spoiled with the screen size of the Note 2 and all it's amazing features and amazing battery life, I am holding out for the Note 3. This device has a ppi of 468? That is complete overkill, if the Note 3 has a 5.8-6.0 inch display as 1080p it'll be like 380-400ppi and that is good enough for me. Plus I cannot ever go back to a small display again and I don't think the 2300 mah battery will do it justice with such a powerful processor and 1080p display. Camera wise, that's another story I need to see real time photos first.

Don't get me wrong, this looks like a beautiful and amazing device, I'm very impressed by HTC, they really stepped it up but I need to see what the Note 3 will give us first.

59. HDShatter posted on 19 Feb 2013, 18:49

The Galaxy Note 3 is released fall 2013. It featured a 6" 1080p super amoled with a 2ghz exynos 5 quad core. It smoked this device in every way.

Jesus. I remember when I thought 1942 on my Droid X was fantastic.

44. yyuu1000 posted on 19 Feb 2013, 16:02

What about the 800 what score would it get

47. Berzerk000 posted on 19 Feb 2013, 17:02 3

Well, the S600 is rated at 40% better performance from the S4 Pro, and the S800 is rated at 75% than the S4 Pro... So do the math, the 800 will be roughly 35% faster than the S600, and the S600 scores about 12,000, so the S800 should score in the 15,000-16,000's.

48. yyuu1000 posted on 19 Feb 2013, 17:10 1

you right i want to see tegra 4i vs snapdragon 600
