HTC One gets its chocolatey KitKat update in Canada despite talk of delay

Despite talk of a one to two week delay in pushing out the Android 4.4.2 update and Sense 5.5 to the HTC One in the U.S. (and Canada), it appears that some Canadian users received the update on Friday. Those sporting HTC's flagship Android handset on Rogers, Bell, Virgin, TELUS, SaskTel and WIND have reported receiving the update...

Downloaded it this morning!
Little tweaks here and there - nothing mindblowing - but better than nothing I guess!

My One is still on 4.3, but I have a Nexus 7 on 4.4, and I honestly don't notice much of a difference anyway. The launcher would be the main thing, but we have sense anyway (which already has the coveted transparent status bar) and stock 4.4 doesn't come with that new Google launcher either. I'm still looking forward to my 4.4 update though. It's always nice to feel up to date.

the changes are minor but I noticed improved battery life, so thats always a good news.

HTC kept it promise! Its the U.S. Carriers to blame once again!!!
