One X+ all the way. If not that then the HTC Nexus X5 or whatever it's called.

problem is that many manufacturers think they can get away with clunky UIs with specs. it doesn't work that way. i would wait for the Nexus phones and see what they have to offer. it's last year's dilemma, Sensation XE or the Galaxy Nexus? the answer is pretty obvious.

Maybe I missed it but, I don't believe anyone was taking about the iPhone. Since you brought it up though I'm sure plenty of people will be glad to tell you why the iPhone is overrated below.

I don't like the iphone because its to simple for me so i stick with android. I will give apple credit though, they make an excellent smartphone.

The LG Optimus looks good too but, I've had bad experiences with LG on the past. I would take a lot for me to leave HTC for LG, a whole lot! 13 megapixels doesn't mean anything until we see how the camera preforms and just like I said before 2GB of ram is not really a must have. I play a lot of games on my phone. LG has never been the best in that department and it doesn't look like that's about to change. I love the clean design of the phone thought but, no jellybean out the box, only the second best processing speed, my past with LG, and LG's lackluster UI skin cost them the crown for the best android phone on the market as far as I'm concerned. The LG is not for me. The HTC One X+ looks like it will have the best gaming performance out of all of these plus you'll get the Tegra 3 exclusives and fastest LTE out of the bunch. Not to mention the awesomeness of HTC Sense 4.0.

Why wasn't the Ip-5 in the comparison?, they would compare Ip-5 to an older Android, put it in with these big boys!!

Judging purely by phone specs, the Optimus G seems to be a winner here, with the 768x1200 screen the most convincing factor.

However, it is highly likely that the G and X+ will get downright s**tty after-market accessory support(just compare Optimus 4X HD, One X and S3), and software dev base(mostly for ROMs). The S3 is a clear winner in these regards, rivalled only by the iPhones, S2 or G. Nexus.

Upon further research, it seems that the One X+ sports the exact same dimensions as international One X, hurray for better accessory support.

I don't know, I'm going to give LG a chance with this one. They can shut up and take my money.

Yeah, the LG looks nice on paper but, knowing LG I don't think it will be the just of the bunch especially in the gpu department. We'll see. Wish for them best but, putting my trusty and money in the hands of HTC. The One X+ looks awesome inside and out.

You might want to rethink that. If you're looking at LG because of the quad S4 Pro, take this into mind; the One X+ scores about 7,500+ in Quadrant, same as the Optimus G. And it scores 14,000 in Antutu, higher than the Optimus G's 11,000. Also, that's the unfinished model, the final model will probably score even higher.

Go to about 1:15 for the benchmarks.

In terms of design and software, HTC wins it over LG. They are on par with pure specs, except the One X+ lacks 2 GB RAM, but even with only 1 GB, the One X+ can still be supported for 2 or 3 years, and will still bring great multi-tasking. 2 GB RAM is mostly useful in the long run, but honestly, I doubt LG will support the Optimus G for more than 2 years; even though it is perfectly capable of having 3 years of support.

Plus, the One X+ comes with Jelly Bean outright. That's a little plus, but the Optimus G will be updated soon (hopefully).
