no microSD, just 1gb RAM, Ultrapixel ---> fail!

The fate of this phone will depend on the price, if it's gonna be more expensive than s3 or one x, it will definitely be a failure but if it would be below that price point, this mini will sell well

you know how HTC prices their phones. this'll fail.

Are you calling the S3 a fail phone too then? And every pre 2013 phone along with that?

S3 has microSD slot, a decent camera, and 1gig of RAM was pretty cool last year, but not in the middle of 2013.

Instead of this, they should have just upgraded the one x and one x+ to sense 5, would have saved them a lot on production and dev cost. Those have practically the same spec if not better except for the ultra pixel camera

I used to be an HTC customer - no fanboy - but I got a Touch , an HDmini and finally a Desire S.
Despite growing size, all those models were among the smallest of their generation, but none was low-end neither.
Today I'm still looking for a small, powerful enough and beautiful phone so I'm following the M4 since months now hoping HTC would provide the phone I expect.
One thing is so strange about the teasing of this device : his main advantage is supposed to be his size but it's the only feature we still don't know. And when comparing from the pictures leaking, it will for sure be over 130mm long, i.e. not mini at all.
I'll defenitely wait for the XT1030, which seems to be even smaller than Razr M (close to 120mm) and I hope more powerful than this one.
If not, only the S4mini with cheap plastic will remain...
