The HTC One Max is a gigantic 6-inch smartphone with plenty of space for a large battery. Indeed, it comes up as one of our top battery performers…

Wow that's insane!
Wish we could get similar battery life in a smaller sized phone though...

Yes. Precisely... such battery life in sub 5 inch phones would be great.
BTW, bit off topic, but did phonearena delete that mobo market article?

I honestly don't care about razor thin phones and would rather have the thickness be around 9 - 11mm thick as long as it packs a larger battery and tough body so I don't feel the need to buy a case for it (so far all my phones are without cases because they are tough-ish). The extra thickness also makes the phone more comfortable to hold IMO.
I'd like the future HTC One to be the same size but with a 5" display while keeping the BoomSound. The One Max is a bit too large for my tastes.

Great battery life but HTC never gets it right when it comes to everything else..

How so? HTC has given me great call quality, build quality and camera quality is definitely up there (don't bring MP count up because it's not the only factor). I also happen to like Sense over stock Android as it adds more functionality.
A thing to note, it seems every time there's an HTC article the Samsung fanboys come in droves and are becoming worse than the Apple fans.

Who said, HTC phones have poor battery life ? They blew up the dirt on them with the One Max.

Where is the Motorola Droid MAXX (XT1080M) in these battery tests?

And the haters still claim htc one has bad battery life and as we see its better than average.

Seriously? A 3300mah battery is considered big? My galaxy s4 had a 3500 in it and i thought that was small. Plus my s4 has a inch smaller screen. I now use a 7500mah battery and even with my heavy usage i only charge it 3 times a week.

It's a windows phone, so therefore who cares? Windows is about as relevant as Blackberry is!

hey it has like twice the market share of blackberry!

This size battle is getting downright funny don't you think. Before you know it phones are going to be so big they will be considered a member of the family and need their own seat on an airplane. LOL. Size means nothing phone companies. It's the features! Pixels mean nothing. The human eye can't even appreciate them or see them! Yes, battery life is important but not to the point of insanity. Ever thought of maybe a solar angle to the battery life issue. You do realize that the reason the battery has to be so big is they keep making the screen bigger and bigger. So make the screen smaller and build a wafer thin battery that wraps around the front and back inside the phone. Try it. It may just work!

It's a bit longer than the G2's life... which is a 5inch phone. So technically LG still has the king, good to know!

Large phones with amazing battery life has made me reconsider my options when purchasing smartphones..
I travel overseas very often and love something that can be used to watch movies or just for entertainment on, and a laptop often proves to be too unweildy (despite being an ultrabook). May consider using a

I have the one max the battery is amazing. I got the powerflip case on top of the already big battery and now its around 4500. Most days I get around 15-16 hours with watching a lot of videos and playing games.
