Gross they need to stop it with the ugly red color for the earpieces and keys.

this is something done for each company. blue for at&t, yellow for sprint, red for verizon, ect.. not a bad idea if you ask me.

I'm wondering if this is going to be a Verizon version of the Desire Z. Looks like it except for a few physical mods including the exclusion of the track pad.

oh wow this is a copy cat of the g2 like really verizon come up with your own designs and models stop copying t-mobile and at&t products

FYI, verison doesnt design the phones! that would be up to the manufacturer.

@Flip667... Sorry you are so badly misinformed, but the handset's design is done by HTC ... NOT Verizon.

If this is going to be packed with an 800 mhz processor like they said it would, I wouldn't waste my time. Instead, I will hold out and hope for the Incredible HD to come out soon.

It uses Qualcomm's same Snapdragon Series processor, but a newer generation that is more efficient and consumes less power. The clock speed of 800MHz operates just as fast, if not faster, than the current ADR6300 processor at 1GHz. So quit your whining and read up on product specs before you try to mark it down.
Intel i7 quad-core processors at 1.71GHz must be worse than the old centrinos at 2.33 right by your logic right?

It and the G2 and the Desire Z are all made by HTC so I guess they are copying themselves. The red accents may have been suggested by VZW, however.
Yes, it is 800 mhz, but it's a next generation Snapdragon and therefore pretty much kicks the but of all the current 1GHZ phones (look up G2 Benchmarks - it's quite impressive tbh).
This is my perfect phone, but if they don't release soon I'll just pick up something on sale and live without that great looking KB.

This is exactly the phone I have been waiting for. To me it is well worth the wait.

im not a fan of qwerty because touchscreen is enough for me... but if youll give me that.. ill be very thankful for all of my life because i havent owned any touchscreen phone before... i just have nokia 6233 as my phone since 2007 given by my parents. it costs about $20 at ebay. im so poor. what would you expect from a person in a third world country. daniel_bargs@yahoo.com ... email me if you wanna send me any touchscreen phone so i can have a hands on experience with a touchscreen phone... i only see it from the internet... so sad.
