HTC Marvel is rumored to be a mid-range Android offering for T-Mobile
Already into the heart of spring, there’s no hiding the notion that T-Mobile is preparing for something big with HTC – especially when talks about the T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide begin to surface. As much as we adore hearing about some high-end Android smartphones coming to Big Magenta’s lineup, we’re still certain that there are other people out there who would settle for something that’s in the mid-range category.

It turns out that T-Mobile just might be getting a variant of the HTC Wildfire S, which is going by the name of the HTC Marvel. Fittingly, this budget friendly handset will be sporting the usual set of features employed by the Wildfire S – such as a 3.2” display and an 800 MHz Snapdragon processor.

Apparently, one person managed to snap an image of the device at an undisclosed T-Mobile event where it was photographed alongside the HTC Sensation 4G. However, there is no T-Mobile branding seen on the device, so it could possibly be a mock up at this point – or simply could be your usual HTC Wildfire S.

Still, the HTC Marvel should find itself in a good position in the mid-range portion of Tmo’s lineup – even more when its top of the line selection is crowded for now.

but HTC Wildfire S has a 600 MHz processor

if they release a Wildfire S in USA with a 800 MHz proc then Europe should feel betrayed
