Do you guys realize that it has 2 flashes like iphone 5S. HTC is using that no law suit treaty well. First it copied that finger print scanner idea and now this.
Not saying its bad, at this point HTC needs every idea(their own or stolen) to save them.
HTC also has agreement with nokia over some microphone that htc likes to use. so lets see how successful HTC will be now with agreement with most companies.

The 5s wasn't the first phone to have a dual-flash, guy. Pretend you know something about tech.

I'm an HTC fan but I've got a feeling that the Galaxy S5 will blow the New One out of the water this year if the leaks come out to be true....
That logo seriously needs to go away. What have HTC been thinking???

I think that is because they have no choice but to use that space for something. The phone internals probably require it to take that much space anyway (being a metal and unibody case most likely). Now with Google forcing on screen buttons, they really can't use it for much else. Still, if I am wrong...screw those guys.

^ this

I've seen so many people blasting the HTC logo on the front as if the bottom bezel is really that big simply for the logo. Of course I'd like a smaller bezel but I don't think anyone takes the actual engineering of the device under consideration. I'd like to see a teardown once it's released to see exactly what's been placed there.

If there's some kind of fingerprint scanner on that front logo, I'd probably be more forgiving, We'll see.

People are forgetting important factors, the phone has 3 camera sensors, dual speakers and we still don't know the battery capacity, if HTC stuffs in a huge battery in there i'll forgive them for that logo easily.

And Sony, Nokia, and HTC fans seem to forget that most people really don't want that stuff and would rather not have a huge bezel.....

Agreed. Look at Nexus 5. Only one logo at the back and the device looks stunning on the front side. I think the on screen buttons should be where the htc logo is.

I don't care about the logo as long as it has an actual function. Even if it doesn't, this thing still looks insanely good.

to each's own, but don't you guys think you might overreacting just a little to the presence of a company logo on their product? i mean isn't this commonplace?

What about the gigantic Apple logo on the back of each iPhone? I for one, thing that the HTC logo looks smooth and not that disruptive. Also, doesn't everyone usually have a case on a phone this nice anyways?

I like the gray the best out of the color choices. Although, if the S5 rumors are true and the S5 does end up with 3GBs of RAM opposed to the M8's alleged 2GBs then I would gotta go with the S5.

I have a S3 and its starting to slow down and the lagginess irritates me immensely. I use up to 80% of the 2GBs of ram on my S3 now and I cant imagine that being sufficient for two more years.

Lastly, if thr S5 does turn out to be waterproof, per thr rumors, that would also be a big plus for me.

s3 has 1gb of ram, s4 has 2. htc sense is NOT bloated touchwizz. it runs smoothly on 2 GB and there is still plenty of space left.

He's from the US Hyper.. the s3 there has a Dualcore CPU and 2Gb of ram. The International version of the s3 was better :p

I guarantee you the lagginess comes from touchwiz. I had an S3 and rooted it and installed cyanogen, it didn't lag a bit after. Gaming performance was a bit low though because the GPU is weak but that is fine if you're not a heavy gamer.

Seriously, why not just paint the HTC logo on the top speaker?

They should've kept it at the back like the iPhone. The "All New One" has a distinct design, you don't need logos to know its an HTC phone.

Asymmetrical speaker grill looks better in black. Still not as good as last year's HTC.

Completely useless space left at the bottom again, and now even the onscreen android buttons are taking space off, FAIL.
