HTC M7 to be called HTC One

0. phoneArena posted on 08 Feb 2013, 17:40

According to information from @evleaks, which has a very good track record in providing reliable leaks, is saying that the HTC M7 is going to hit the market as the HTC One; there is no word on what name the Taiwan based manufacturer plans on using with the two other handsets that it plans on launching around the same time...

I guess next would be HTC Two, HTC Three and so on.

C'mon HTC! wheres your Uniqueness in naming your phones? Remember Wildfire S?

Thunderbolt?? Sensation? Desire S? Incredible? Inspire?? Chacha? Salsa?

Where's your uniqueness in naming phones?

Name it HTC Turbo, HTC Charge or whatever :P

Should have been HTC evo 2, 3, 4. Instead Too many phones, too name many branding, too confusing. No wonder Samsung doing so well say the word "Galaxy" and everyone will know its Samsung.

I like them keeping the "one" name, but they should add something else.
Yeah the one series last year may not have kicked off like their older phones, but keeping a familiar name and making it a trademark is a good thing.

M7 might have sounded cool, but to me it seemed like a prototype name and I'm glad it won't (hopefully) be kept.
