I like the lock screen of sense 4 more compared with leaked sense 5 lock screen .
Hope it wasn't true , big fan of sense 4

im keen to see what sense 5 offers, I have a feeling it will grow on me like transition to sense 4 did

I hope the lock screen of m7 will be similar to sense 4, I still prefer the weather animation and the "pull the ring" to unlock the phone

The ring unlock is very unique, I'd like that to stay too... but doesn't seem like that'll happen.

One day after BlackBerry's great announcement event, Android news is sucking the oxygen out of the room.

it means Sony with Xperia Z is gonna loose a big market share again ...
poor job SoNY! :(

I love the way HTC did, but my eye still on Xperia z tho :)

me too ! but i m feeling bad for SONY

Yep Sony kinda used specs from Last year on the xperia Z it could have been successful if it was released on november 2012 IMO
Those Phones powered by Snapdragon 800 Are definitly something to look up too. I still think my last year spec 4X HD does the job Very good phone! but I want jellybean :/
10. XperiaUser (unregistered)
M7 is not gonna powered with snapdragon 800 , coz snapdragon says that they are going to start production of their new chips after Q2
13. omar98 (Posts: 30; Member since: 28 Aug 2011)
I know Its powered by a Tegra 4. But the one thing I hate about htc is they dont have a flagship name they could have just called it htc one X 2 instead
20. mr.techdude (Posts: 417; Member since: 19 Nov 2012)
Ur right omar 98 the HTC m7 is just a code name it might be or betta be the one series device like the HTC one x it was called the HTC endeavour while it was being rumored as the endeavour

HTC 2x sounds good to me
29. tiara6918 (Posts: 1199; Member since: 26 Apr 2012)
I think the butterfly was also supposed to be named one but maybe htc ran out of ideas since there is already a one xl
41. thelegend6657 (unregistered)
No , HTC butterfly is strictly not a one series device

Sucker who the hell buys an lg device besides the nexus 4, u should Have bought HTC one x same processor but its got jelly bean sooooo I blame u for buying an lg device, I would never buy there phones
28. tiara6918 (Posts: 1199; Member since: 26 Apr 2012)
what can you say about the one x? I'm planning to get one since its price already depreciated
42. thelegend6657 (unregistered)
I love the one X.

M7 can't be a threat for Z. the design and specs of Z is much much better than those of M7

But isn't this based on the current generation of Qualcomm chips, meaning this will only be the flagship until May or June, what with all the competition coming from A15 powerhouses.

blacakberry is looking like my exit from android land people.........and a big part of that reason is simply because the manufacturers are so caught up in the "bigger is better" movement (created by samsung...smh) that NO ONE is able to make a reasonable sized phone anymore..............and im talking HIGH END 4.3 inch phones with hd screens
So since that seems to be the world that android is currently embedded in i will be moving on to the new blackberry 10 as soon as it is available and i can afford to get one......still have love for the android community but thanks to samsung I will no longer be with you guys........UNLESS someone like sony or HTC decides to change my mind with a high end normal sized phone........but until then blackberry is looking like daylight while stuck in a cave.....
much love to everyone that was with me while on the android rollercoaster

Congratulation knight, you have finally break yourself beyond the android world... Bb10 has everything that android had, it just has not much customization tho... If you think customization is not a deal breaker, it definitely suits you
Kinda envy tho :(

Good bye Xperia knight
Hello BlackBerry knight

I personally love the BB10's software but the Z10 (specially its camera) failed to wow me. I don't like the limitations of WP8 (which is a good performer, but limitations are far too much for me to overlook) but I love the 920's hardware. Help.

Size is objective, and the majority of people are liking the bigger displays. I'd personally like to keep it at 5", then anything above is phablet. There is no "reasonable" size, there is no "normal" size, there is just category.
3.5"-5" = phone with a .3 inch extension to the rule if bezel is minimal
5.3"-6" = phablet with a .5 inch extension with minimal bezel
6.5+ = tablet
But I do agree, if I were to switch away from Android, it would be with BB10. I absolutely love the interface of BB10, especially the notifications. There is a bit of a learning curve to BB10 without the existence of buttons except on the homescreen, but it shouldn't be too bad.
Have a fun time in the BB Army, Xperia. I might join you, maybe as a secondary device.

just watch some vids on it bro..........its looking really good and honestly a more "intelligent/cool" os than android ...............in my opinion
It seems as though they thought long and hard about this one and it also seems to be worth every second put into it.........
Im actually ready to own one and dig into the world they call.....crack berry lol haha

I've watched a lot of videos on it, including Pocketnow's comparisons between it, WP, and Android. I like BB10, it is very nice, I just think Android is ahead of it at the moment. WP is very vulnerable to it though, and I can't wait to see WP and BB fight it out for 3rd place, then one of them takes on iOS for second, then they can compete with Android.
Until then, I find BB only useful as a backup/secondary device and Android for personal use. But they do have A LOT of potential. I wish BB well in the market

You might not need to leave so fast after all.
I don't know if you saw that, but the M4 looks like it suits your needs. 4.3" 720p display, 2 GB RAM, and a dual core Snapdragon @ 1.2 GHz; could be any model, probably the same as the Incredible 4G LTE, but it might be an under clocked MSM8960T that has Adreno 320.
Should also have a nice pair of cameras, 13 MP primary one (with upgraded Image Sense chip probably), and a 1.6 MP wide angle front camera.
Also with a lighter Sense 5.0 and Android 4.2 out of the box, so you'll be up to date. See? There's hope yet for manufacturers.

You spoke my mind....
Altho, I'm not sure if I'm down with a BB10 tho... I really need to play with it a bit before I could say anything more.

They can make the screen bigger as long as the bezzel stays the same. The first company to make me a hight end one handed text capable 4.3+ phone can just have my money.

The Xperia V is basically a smaller waterproof version of the Xperia T. Same internals and an HD screem at 4.3 inches. So unless the Xperia V bombed hard, I wouldn't be surprised if we saw a smaller version of the Xperia Z/ZL that is just as powerful or probably more powerful since it pushes less pixels. The HTC One S totally outperformed the One X in everything except screen quality for example.

Actually is created by HTC , remember how the HD2's 4.3 inch is considered gigantic (just like note ) back in the winmo days ?

That's the day of my birthday! So, HTC be kind and send me one as a present :D

The silver white model should look pretty nice. I want to hear more about the actual specs tho...

M7 comes with a SD card Slot on top left side
38. Taters (Posts: 2094; Member since: 28 Jan 2013)
I really do not have much faith in this handset. Especially after seeing the video that shows that this is only slightly shorter than the Droid DNA.

I want to unlock HTC M7 can someone refer me toward a good unlock code provider? I found safeunlockcode com , is it okay to buy code from them?
