HTC HD7S getting a taste of Mango beginning Tuesday
The HTC HD7S may be a little late arriving to the Mango party but its better late than never. Over the last few weeks, other Windows Phone handsets such as the HTC Trophy for Verizon and the HTC Arrive for Sprint have been given their serving of Mango. Like those devices, the update for the HD7S will receive the update gradually to ensure there are no issues.
The latest version of the Windows Phone operating system will need to be downloaded via the Zune Software Client. The smartphone will need to be plugged into the computer in order to receive the update. Owners of the HD7S with service through AT&T will get a notification when Mango is available to download.
The Mango update brings several improvements to Windows Phone devices such as multitasking, improved live tiles and an improved web browsing experience courtesy of Internet Explorer 9. If you are an owner of the HTC HD7S then keep an eye out for when your update becomes available.

I dont have it, butmy bro, who is inexperienced with this stuff has it, so i want to update his before he gets bored with his phone lol, I know that the update isn't over the air, so you might want to check on your pc if you didn't know that. And I have to check my bros...

i have updated my sister's 1.3 focus with no issue, but I forced the update...I don't know if that would work with the 1.4.
1-connect the focus to your PC
2-Click on update (in Zune), wait for 3 seconds and disconnect your PC from the network
3-update will show up, just connect your PC back and update!

this is an awesome phone but for me WP7 has so many setbacks: poor app store, lack of customization and liberty, no future-proof hardware, etc. In the other hand the UI looks stylish and smooth as hell
