HTC HD7 gets a release date and a price, courtesy of a leaked document

This article contains unofficial information.
According to the document, the phone will arrive sometime during the 42nd week of the year. This timing coincides nicely with October 18 – the previously rumored release date. When it comes to the pricing, the HTC HD7 will probably see the light of day bearing a price tag of approximately $103 (EUR 79) when purchased with a 2-year EUR 20 plan, and $729 (EUR 559), if bought service-free. However, keep in mind that these prices are subject to change.
The preferred color by HTC seems to be black, and we have to tell you, folks – we just can't wait to finally touch this hot Windows Phone 7 handset. Some brave rumors of the past claimed that it will probably sport a 1.5GHz processor and a 4.5-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 800x1280 pixels. This, of course, sounds very naive to us, but whatever the final spec sheet has in store for us, we'll surely welcome it with open arms!

Again, the "rumored" specs on this phone were debunked loooong ago. It doesn't even meet the WP7 standards as it is. Odds are its just the Mozart.

it doesnt meet the wp7 standards? its a windows 7 phone. yea, the 1.5 ghz dual core has been debunked. It could still have a 1.2 ghz dual which is possible. as far as the Amoled, who knows.. but 4.5inches is also doubtful but who knows.. MS really needs to start off with a bang with the new OS, so maybe.

HTC HD7 is actually HTC HD3, but they rename it (apparently) to HD7 in honor to Windows Phone 7.
