Verizon will never have an Android-based phone because they never joined the Open Handset Alliance because they were afraid they couldn't lock down their phones so you are forced to use their software. I wonder when Verizon fanboys are ever going to wake up...

OMG if you want an android phone go to T-mobile. they got the G1 and are supposedly getting the HTC Dream (a.k.a. G2). If you think VZW is getting an android phone then your crazy. Get over it, VZW is not the greatest phone carrier in the world and deserve all the greatest phones. They are a good phone carrier but there not even what you VZW fan boys make them up to be. so just stop with this VZW is the best B.S. cause they are not

McMillian, it sounds like you could use a good kilt lifting by the wonderful *kiltlifter*. On another note, you are wrong, VZW is IN FACT the best. On yet another note, the G1 sucks! The "Dream" looks quite a bit nicer, but it's still on a super limited network. Why would I want a phone with a network that gets extremely limited 3G coverage. Last time I checked, the point of owning a device that supports some great features, was to actually....um.....be able to USE those features.
