How knows, the Evo View 4G could actually be a WP7 device.

That's always possible, but highly unlikely. I think the marketing folks at Sprint are sharp enough not to confuse the brand identity of the Evo line by offering both Android and WP7 phones under that name.

Question is, is this the successor to the HTC EVO or the HTC Shift?
Honestly, I think it's going to look similar to the HTC Shift while sporting Android. Which I think is going to be a terrible idea.

Not sure what you mean by this. The EVO View is rumored to be a tablet, not a phone. Did you even read the article?

"After reading both submissions we found out that *neither* of them mentions the mysterious HTC EVO View 4G to be a *tablet at all*."

the only reason to buy this is because it supports wimax, made by HTC (Best Manufacture), Portable, Capacitive Stylus, and the 1.5 Ghz Processor :) . the bad is it will run 2.3 gingerbread but will be updated to 3.0, weak battery, and its expensive.

it will feature not one but TWO physical keyboards and a $10 a month keyboard fee

and even with that fee, still cheaper than Verizon and AT&T
