HTC EVO View 4G may ship with Honeycomb after all

0. phoneArena posted on 06 Apr 2011, 10:19

When Dan Hesse, Sprint's chief executive officer, introduced the HTC EVO View 4G at CTIA, it was a bit underwhelming to see the 7-inch device running Android 2.3 Gingerbread instead of the tablet-oriented 3.0 Honeycomb…

yeah, I think it's a fail. The single core cranked up that high is going to give crap battery life. I don't think HTC really had much of a clue with this thing other than the digitizer.

and hopefully get rid of the buttons cause they wud be annoying and unnecessary with honeycomb

Yeah this only makes sense. Why drop it with 2.3 if you are going to put 3.0 on it. Why not just do it from the onset. This is a good idea. Good for HTC. They seem to be the only company truly about the people!!!

Wow, this is awesome. I'd love to see what HTC can do with HoneyComb. Plus, I really like the 7" tablet form factor, much nicer to hold and easier to travel with, in my opinion. I may have found my future tablet right here.

Wouldn't surprise me if it does come with Honeycomb, or gets updated within a few weeks. HTC is fairly good at updates; one reason why I decided to get the Evo Shift instead of the Epic.

I like the Scribe technology, I will most likely get it for that because that's something I can really use...and if it has Honey Comb and because its hTc.
