Sprint's upcoming new flagship smartphone model, the HTC EVO 4G LTE, has taken a trip to visit the FCC
. This is just another step on the way to its eventual launch, which has been unannounced so far by the carrier. Speculation has pointed to a launch during the first or second week of June
. What we do know is that pre-orders are starting May 7th
with a 2-year contract price of $199.99.
The FCC documentation showed the device using Sprint's CDMA and EV-DO spectrum and support for LTE band 25
. That is the band that Sprint is using as seen with the FCC paperwork for the Sprint variant of the Samsung GALAXY Nexus, which visited the Feds last month
