underpriced sprint plans are the second coming of christ. i love undercutting the competition to grasp and hold on to what little market share i have left.

we don't know this yet...none of the specs mention it. All specs have showed 1ghz so far.

The leaked user guide says 1gHz, no underclocking. I hear the EVO is coming here but if you keep waiting for the next big thing as far as mobile phones go you will constantly be waiting because they are constantly getting better. It's like the weather here in South Dakota, if you don't like it, wait a few minutes and it'll change.

The processor isn't designed to be underclocked. It automatically dials it down when it's no being used.

evo 4g doesn't have amoled screen...? if you had the choice between galaxy s and droid incredible, regardless of the network, which would you pick?

galaxy...but it won't be out for a while. End of the summer at best. Future tech is always better. But no way would I get that on ATT.

I'd go with the Galaxy S for the super amoled screen AS LONG AS I could root it or run stock Android. Samsung's UI is terrible.

A version of the EVO is going to come out on VZW later this year (presently designated the Venture but likely to change), then you can get the INC or Venture on the best network with the best customer service. Still going INC. Less screen to crack (and 3.7" is plenty for me), thinner, VZW. Easy choice.

yeah, to blow an extra $50 a month for data charges; $350 etf... easy choice

it is an easy choice. $29.99 for data. no need for any amount of an ETF - unless you want to cancel your service and keep the device within the first 30 days. 450 min and smartphone with vzw: $69.98 450 min and smartphone with sprint: $69.99 over simplified - yes. and yes, sprint does throw in a bunch of extra stuff for that extra penny. but i'm talking voice and data. screw sms and mms. if sprint can give me all that extra *** for a penny, why not make the plan even cheaper and let me do it a la carte?

youre rediculous. Sprint gives you all your data and unlimited cell to cell calling. you can't value them side by side when Verizon continues to add charges on top. if $30 A MONTH doesn't matter, than you should be wiping your @$$ with dollar bills. Don't be ignorant. i didn't realize you had verizon fanboy tatooed accross you dumb face.

I'll take the Incredible and seamless 3G coverage nationwide. In a year, I'll get a Verizon 4G phone on a superior 4G network. I actually like the EVO and thought long and hard about Sprint, but their 3G network isn't nearly as expansive as Verizon's. The fact that Sprint roams on Verizon's network at 1xRTT data speeds is a SHOWSTOPPER. No thanks. Yeah, Sprint is cheaper but you get what you pay for. It comes down to what meets your needs. If Sprint does that, more power to you! I'd rather not rely on roaming in my travels.

sprint has no 4g in my area (orlando) and very weak network, especially travailing outside the city which I often do. If they had 4g or an equal network, i'd wait for the EVO and go with that. But since they don't, verizon is worth the extra $ for the better network. Plus...the EVO is 2 months away it looks like

unless you live in Snohomish, WA, in which case Sprint has you covered! LMAO

you still don't get it. sprint charges the same amount, but throws in a bunch of extra stuff like nascar sprint cup mobile, sprint tv and radio, etc. if i don't want nascar sprint cup mobile, lower the price. sprint could destroy vzw if they went a la carte, but they won't and therefore the extra value of having the sprint plan over the vzw plan is just more crap. the unlimited cell to cell is fine, but vzw already does that with unlimited vzw to vzw for 90+ million numbers. look, i'm not ignorant. i understand you see value in paying less for more. what i'm saying is that if you can undercut att and vzw by adding in all that extra stuff.. why aren't your plans cheaper? lastly, stop saying fan boy it's really gay and if you need some money to afford vzw get a better job.

youre arguing $hit that i never said. like above: i never said verizon had a BAD 3g network, people like you who like to follow popular opinions like to think that there is a huge gap between 3g networks, and there isn't. It's extremely uneducated and redundant when you have to split hairs under 100 kbps. Facts are facts on networks. I never argued that Verizons network was slow, or that they don't have coverage, so don't put words in my mouth and argue your own bull$hit. Youre arguing extra features but missing the fact that MY TEXTS AND DATA USEAGE ARE UNLIMITED FOR NO EXTRA COST WITH SPRINT!!!!!! Maybe you missed the memo, but our nation is in a recession. I have a family. if that's what you really think about $30 a month PER LINE for 24 MONTHS God help the people you are related too. Do the math 3ickhead. That's $720 per line per year A$$hole. $1440 for my wife and I. That allows me to help the rest of the economy by spending the money in other places... but you can't grasp economics because your'e stupid. But hey, if you really are this much of a selfish prick off the internet, if you ever switch you can save enough money to keep playing world of warcraft in your mom's basement, all by yourself. No, I'm just passing on the Evo and the N1, like I said sprint just downright sucks! I don't care if they were launching 5G, and for the N1 I'm basically getting a better designed one that is the incredible!

I could care less about the Evo. Sure it sounds nice and I wish I could get it, but there is no way i'm going back to Sprint. Sprint is absolutely the worst wireless company out except for AT&T. I'll pay the $10 more it costs me per month to stay with Verizon and get the better coverage and more friendly customer service (on the phone, not at the store---all wireless carriers have shitty sales people). I'll be more than happy with the Incredible for the next year or so.
