HTC Desire EYE (AT&T variant) showcased on video
Officially announced by HTC last week, the Desire EYE will be exclusively available in the US on AT&T “this holiday season” - besides being released in other markets at about the same time.

Until AT&T reveals a proper  launch date, the carrier posted a video that showcases the main features of the Desire EYE. As you may know, the smartphone has two 13 MP cameras with dual LED flashes - one on the rear, and one on the front (for selfies and video calling). Another selling point of the EYE is its water-resistant body. Other than that, the new Desire features Android KitKat with Sense 6 UI, a 5.2-inch 1080p display, BoomSound speakers, Snapdragon 801 processor, 2 GB of RAM, and 16 GB of internal memory.

In Europe, the HTC Desire EYE will reportedly cost as much as the HTC One (M8). It remains to be seen if that’s also the case for the US market. Besides watching AT&T’s Desire EYE video presentation that’s embedded below, you should also check out our own Desire EYE hands-on.
