I'm very excited to see another android phone coming to verizon, in fact, I think it may be the only reason I am sticking around with them is to get one.

I hope Big Red Allows the Androids to carry all the Applications--- I am on board with renhart- the only reason I am staying with Verizon is cause of the new Androids-

I hope so, if they restrict access to the android marketplace or only allow certain apps to be used, then no deal.

ARE READING THIS VERIZON??? LOL- Your customers want ALL the applications and not having to wait forever to upgrade our phones without having to pay full retail!!!! We appreciate the network and not dropping calls, but we want to have some fun NOW!!! Hugs and Kisses!

I totally agree. I'm sick of my friends showing off their well over-played iphones and all I have is my 5th replacement of the BB Storm. I am way stoked for VZW to get these in. Now, if only they would make it possible for you to upgrade whenever you felt like it, that would be gangsta

You can......its called full retail......lol!!!!

After your thrid replacement you should have been able to get another phone of your choice. Thats what i did last year when my Voyager broke down

13. CannedNoodlez posted on 02 Sep 2009, 01:01

That's NOT what the rule is. You have to have three replacements in 90 days, and there is a matrix they go off of. It's not the phone of your choice. Plus, it extends the upgrade date by 20 months. The contract end date stays the same.

i liked the hero for having android, but i wasnt as thrilled for the sense ui. some people like me, dont use as much widgets that uses the multiple screens of the hero.having android and putting it on verizons network was a good idea, hope they continue making more in the future, and i hope to see something different about this android phone than the rest! i hope they could put a great keyboard on it like the touchpro 2. or keep the great virtual keyboard they have for the hero.

So agree, this phone should rock! Why are us loyal verizon customers suffering from the lack of cool phones??????

I was looking at getting an Imagio... That' s WinMo 6.5... Althought I and seriously considering canceling that and waiting for the its Android sibling. Is the Desire that beast? I heard the name Predator floating out there too... any thoughts? My primary concern are applications. Windows Marketplace is open but I know very little about it... I know they don't have very many apps, though I hear they have more than the Palm Pre.
