A few days ago we reported that some leaked information pointed to April 28th as the release date for the HTC DROID Incredible 2. This appears to be true, as one of our friends were able to send us the full screen image from Verizon internal system, and indeed it has the release set for April 28th, and is expected to have a price of $199.99.

um well not really. and the droid incredible never had super AMOLED, it only had AMOLED and then it was replaced with SLCD because of shortages. I personally liked AMOLED better, but my phone broke and i got it replaced and now i have SLCD. The D.Inc.2 has a larger screen, a front facing camera, a newer processor, comes with a larger memory card, and hopefully some issues on the old one have been solved (like the LED indicator only being able to switch between green, orange, and red. Oh not to mention, say bye bye to the optical track pad

T-Bolt has the 1.3 MP front facing camera, doesn't it? It seems as though HTC is not putting out the Incred 2 to compete with the T-Bolt, but compliment it. It's main appeal is as a world phone and a alternative to those who are not worried about LTE connection. The smaller, "lesser" screen will ad a few minutes of battery life to it (one would guess). I do not want to use the term "lesser" with it, because it is still a respectable device. But it is aiming for a different group.

The specs of the incredible and the thunderbolt are so similar why would people want this one again? You get a smaller phone but you also lose 4G. What else is different?

You don't have the same global calling capabilities with a T-bolt, which is huge for world travelers. Not to mention the 4G connection on the T-bolt isn't consistent inside 4G coverage areas. Plus, the battery life on the T-bolt isn't that strong. Granted we have no idea if it's going to be any good on the Inc. 2, what with HTC's mediocre track record on that spec for the majority of its phones.

I was on Verizon's website and I found that on VERIZON'S website on BLUETOOTH PAIRING, you van find that the HTC Incredible 2, Samsung Droid Charge, and G'zOne Commando are up there. Check it out for yourself.
