It's not just the price they have to change. Apple iphones are overpriced yet they are still the best selling devices

It's not really the price. It's the fact that Chou and HTC refuse to listen to what the customer wants. We want removable memory and batteries. Oh, and that pesky little word......UPDATES. At least the One actually got updated fairly quickly, but the DNA I doubt will ever see an update. Stop releasing carrier branded crap, and stop with the flagships every 3 months. Then actually support them for more than 3 months. This would put them back on top relatively quickly. I would dump Sammy in a heart beat if they did this.

I like HTC, but their products are too overpriced and they don't market their products much

Yeh HTC should learn off nexus, cheap but not too cheap, high end specs. Stay like this and HTC will become successful, just take risks lessen your profit margin on ur products. Next year HTC should be yours and learn from it mistakes since u still haven't.

NEXUS has Google subsidies in the US. It's based on Amazon kindle business model.

In my local market it's the full price same as other LG high end phone pricing.

If they sell US pricing for nexus in my local market i will be able to buy two Nexus and still have spare change.

Lol they must be giving Apple a lot if they experienced their first quarterly loss. That is what you get for not standing up to the bully, putting your buttons in retarded places, have over heating phones, phones that are too big for their screen size, and a severe lack of quality control.

Before commenting on quality control on htc's product just try to tell first your beloved samsung to fix the lags and overheating on their devices even if it runs on s800 or the fake octa core..lol

It isn't just me that thinks HTC sucks. There are plenty of people voting that Samsung is more quality with their wallets.

I apologize if you are butthurt over the truth. HTC sucks, this has nothing to do with Samsung. Just deal with it....

Everyone who visits this site already knows you are a major troll that has nothing to do apart from praising Samsung and hating HTC.

Its sad how blind the HTC fans have become. I know people are oblivious to their denial stage but HTC fans take it to far.

It is like their mind creates this construct where HTC products without any glaring flaws exist.

Trust me, they don't. All 6 or 7 of my HTC products had flaws and I had to get rim of them. No way it is a coincidence that they bat 100 with a 6 for 6 lemon unless they really do suck.

Amats, not everyone that hates HTC now is a paid "samsung troll". I, for one, owned the xv6800, TP2, Thunderturd, Flyer and finally the Rezound. The fact that the rezound, flyer were screwed was the reason I refuse to continue and support them. If they cared about the consumer they wouldn't release flagship after flagship to drop support on after it is released. So please take your HTC manlove elsewhere. I am speaking as a former HTC customer.

I honestly love HTC's products but there are many things that i don't go with HTC.
I used to own the One X it was a nice phone with a nice camera but POOR battery. Later, i font of the design of the One but i don't like its Ultrapixel. 4mp for high-end phone???? I think a lot of people may think the same way to me that 4mp is not valued for money. I know it improves low light capture but the low light is not a brilliant found on the One and the camera capture more noise and not that good quality. Each product always overprice compared to its android competitor. Battery is very important for users. I don't think someone wants to charge their phones many times a day.

I hope HTC can take my comment into their consideration because i don't want the HTC brand to disappear someday.

You are like many of us former HTC owners. But, just like in the past with battery issues etc, HTC will refuse to do anything about it and just continue to make subpar products, then wonder why they are getting outpaced by the likes of Samsung, LG, etc.

I own the HTC one and Love the phone. But, I agree with most that HTC should have used a higher megapixel count. Instead of 4 megapixels 8 would have been more premium. So in the camera area it falls short but it's not terrible. Everything else about the device is of a top shelf device from built quality to Sense 5.
I believe Peter has done his job fine but he needs to let go of the CEO position as he stated. get some fresh blood and eyes for that position while he concentrates on the engineering side. The main thing HTC needs is marketing ( the Robert Downing JR ads are terrible -at least use him as Tony Stark if you cant use the IRON MAN character )
