Meeh... I love my HTC evo 4G lte but honestly beats audio is a gimmick. It only seems to make a slight difference when you listen to hip hop or pop none of which I care for. I use poweramps equalizer with a par of bose headphones. :)

Yes, that is what beats DOES... All I'm saying is even when you listen to hip hop or rap with beats ( which I have) it still doesn't sound all that different without it in my opinion. And please I know who the f*** dr. Dre is Mr. Nwa.

If the renders of the Accord and Lumia 920 are real, I'll be sticking with the ATIV

For me the 3d capabilities on the Evo 3d was a gimmick.
For me the illuminated charm on the HTC Rhyme is a gimmick.
For me the HTC watch is a gimmick.
When it comes to the Beats Audio, it adds to the refinement of HTC's product, although it is a slight tweak to the standard audio stack settings and not a complete overhaul to the audio experience is enough for me. I can tell the difference within not only the bass but also with the treble weither I am listening through my samsung ear buds, and my car stereo speakers (bose). when it really shines is when i use my studio Beats Earphones. THERE IS NO ONE STOP PERFECT SERVICE FOR EVERY ONE.
on another note HTC sold back a majority stake ( IMPLYING THEY ARE STILL A LARGE OWNER WITH 25%) so why would they still be owners and not employ the technology on their devices? My take on HTC choosing to no longer put Beats Audio technology on its new phones doesnt mean incliding the audio software but the hardware. thats just my 2 cents though

I might be wrong, but I´m seeing each OEM striking in a different feature... Samsung screen size, thin profile; Nokia, camera; HTC, audio quality. It´s going to be a mater of feature preference! All phones look awesome!!!

HTC audio quality? WRONG!
If you want the best audio quality that a smartphone has to offer, go for the GSIII(and probably the GNOTE II)!
Wolfson DAC chipsets for portable devices are the best.

I´m not saying that HTC has the best audio quality, but they do give it premium treatment putting Beats. It´s their signature move, just like Nokia has Pureview.

out of the htc devices i can say the only usable speaker phone with ambient noise is the one on the evo 4g lte. even th one x audio sounds dull

Bass beats head phones is the most over rated head phones out there. it only sells because it have DR. DRE's name on it. and half of the owners probably doesn't know what company makes BASS BEATS plus don't even listen to DR. DRE
