HP/Palm's “Think Beyond” event yesterday was a milestone for webOS after the acquisition of Palm by HP. The good old Pre 2 suffered delays, which, coupled with the advent of Windows Phone 7, put a question mark to HP/Palm's ambitions for the third spot in mobile operating systems…

Really nice and impressive. If I don't own an ipad, I probably would go for this one. But I already have lots of ipad apps that I use every day, that it would be hard for me to let go of my ipad. Great job HP.

I actually took the time to watch/listen to all but the last few minutes. I'm quite impressed by where HP is taking webOS. As a BlackBerry user, holding off on the PlayBook initially so I can see the new BlackBerry devices coming later this year, it will likely coincide with the Pre3 rollout too. I'll be giving webOS a serious look.
