It looks like it's easier for HP to just take already-made tablets and puts its logo on them, instead of designing new models...

I have Huawei Mediapad X1.... above photod Hp slate does indeed look same as mediapad x1... its a great cost to value tablet, the best there is

hmm since Windows 8.1 is free to OEM's that make Tablets that have screens smaller than 9 inches I wonder how many new windows 8.1 tablets will come from HP?
