If rumors are to be trusted, HP is about to launch a $99 tablet for the upcoming back-to-school season, sources for DigiTimes claim. What's more, HP has allegedly gotten retail giant Wal-Mart as a partner in serving the demand...

HP is out of ideas and this race to the bottom will kill them.
They are pricing their Windows products ridiculously high at launch which is the reason why they are not selling well.

Their android tablets are not selling well because of nexus 7.

I still don't know why they never overlayed webOS over Android. I could see a nice blend of the two working amazingly together.

I might buy it after the month week of sales and HP drops the price to $25. HP seriously can't do anything right as of late..

tablet will never for me replace my laptop or desktop windows pc. But I do have a tablet mainly for games videos music and when I am being super lazy and dont want to pull out the laptop

Well, you have to hand it to them. In the light of consistant failure in the mobile electronics market they certainly are persistant...albeit foolishly...
