HP to let other manufacturers use webOS?

HP's Jon Rubinstein hinted today that webOS might be made available to other manufacturers who could, "bring value to the ecosystem"; the former Apple and Palm executive said that HP plans to use webOS on top of computers, printers and more...

well we shall see either wp7 or webos... which one will rise? gotta say i think it will be wp7... the interface is much better and they already have nokia...

OH yeah! Quality Motorola or HTC Web Os phones. Hopefully they do not add Custom UI's.

Good move. Exclusivity to HP will not work for WebOS. iOS is just too dominant in that "exclusive" OS niche. By expanding to other manufacturers, it will give WebOS better chances of getting exposed on a wider scale.
