If you recently purchase the Palm Pre 2 through Verizon Wireless, you’re probably going to kick yourself in the behind about it because HP has tremendously slashed the pricing for its webOS powered smartphone. Sure...

This is what happens when you announce the replacement for the phone before it even goes on sale.... Who wants an obsolete product before it even goes on sale? I wonder if it will be offered for free before the end of March?

Palm must have already had like 500 (sitting in a box) of these already in development when they got bought by HP because releasing this phone just doesn't make sense. I guess just wanted something on the market so it wouldn't seem like were totally absent.

So what is the best deal if Verizon says I am not eligible to upgrade until next January? My Pre+ is getting pretty beat up.
