HP managed to treat its employees to some good old fashion appreciation by opening up sales through their Employee Purchase Program. In fact, they briefly started selling them at 9:00 AM PST on the dot this morning...

I'm an HP employee and took advantage of this offer as did a lot of my coworkers. The site was slow because of all the users, but it didn't come crashing down. It handled the load much better than most of the other sites during the initial fire sale when I tried to buy one. Everyone that I know that wanted one was able to get an order in finally.

Henrickrw. I'm sorry you found the touchpad to be a waste. I bought 2 of them, since I have not touch my iPad 2, literally. WebOs is the best tablet os to me. Social apps are integrated to the OS such as Facebook and Skype. The UI is just gorgeous and practical. I can overclock my cpu, open a linux command line window, print (native), access to Preware, OS patches and improvements, and I could make this list much longer here. Yes there is no app who cares. I use tablets in my work environment as a web developer. I have Flash on my touchpad and that's what Steve Jobs should have had allow on the iPad a long time ago. The technical burden reported by Apple to include Flash in IOS is pure futility. The only reason why you cannot have flash on IOS is financial. The way I look at it is that a huge amount of the useless apps on the apple store could have been made of Flash hosted on a website. But considering the cut Apple takes from every IOS developer when they release an app, it is probably good enough for Apple to refuse Flash integration in IOS and it will probably never integrated.

For those who are lucky and able to buy a TouchPad, you can go towww.TouchPadPlus.com and follow their Step By Step Instructions with SCREENSHOTS to boost up the performance of your TouchPad.. It is a lot better than just the pure TEXT instruction.. You won't get lost.. It simply works.
Make sure to tell you colleague!!
