The phone is "about the size of a credit card", and has a 2.6" screen, Qualcomm 7230 Snapdragon processor, clocked at 800 MHz. There is a 5MP camera, Wi-Fi, GPS, microUSB port, Bluetooth and audio jack. It will run on HSPA+ networks, like AT&T and T-Mobile...

So it's a Palm Pre 2 with a smaller screen. Way to go HP/Palm!

The pre was too small to work on, this has to be horrible to try to navigate on!

Are you kidding me? Palm had an opportunity to blow us away today and all they did was release 2 phones that are pretty much the same. The Pre didn't do well so they are releasing the Pre 2, Pre 3, and Veer. All copies of the Pre just with different CPU speeds and screen sizes. Are you stupid Palm? Get over this one size fits all bullshit. Be more diverse and give people a choice instead of all these Pre copies. I really had faith in you guys Palm, but you blew it as far as phones go.

so if i dont want a portrait keyboard im sol palm? if i want a slide out keyboard or touch keyboard am i sol? the answer is yes. palm needs to have a wider selection of phones. all these phones all have the same form factor wtf palm. its gay and didnt sell for a reason. im sure i will get thumbs down but i dont care. its the sad truth. if palm wanted to appeal to more people they would do so by having more than one type of phone

I actually like it...I wish it were coming to Sprint but it seems to be a GSM-only device.

BTW, this credit-card-sized-crap had better be free on contract or Palm (HP) is SOL...

Well here is your iPhone nano but if it was actually made by apple it would be considered awesome but since its made by HP its just a piece of crap.

There is no iphone nano - ipod nano - yes - diff products - 4" plus screens are all the rage...esp for gamers...and old folks who have poor vision :-)

really disappointed with hp. should have kept palm name, it is the original smartphone. was looking forward to a remodeled pixi but instead they just shrink a pre and call it a day. switch it up a bit hp if you really want to succeed. was waiting to see these new phones to decide if i was going to buy the iphone. since none of these new phones are the least bit desirable, its the iphone for me. and getting rid of pixi plus.
