The European HP Palm website has been updated with some new information regarding the release of the Pre3, which is now expected to ship as early as this month. However, the...

I would be posting from a pre3 IF I COULD!
The "right time" has come and gone. Last nov we got this device flashed at us. In feb we were told in EARLY summer. Now? Maybe by fall. Not to mention the promised 2.0 update for the pre plus which never materilized.
Now, not only will I not wait, I will never purchase ANY hp product again. My new cannon printer can attest.
Total shame too. I have had every single os over the years
including windows 6.1 on my Htc Touch Diamond... And webos kills them all. My 70 year old non tech Mom loves her pre2 mostly for the ease of use & multitasking.
I thought hp buying palm would be a good thing.

HP is sure full steam ahead on tablets, though. This is nuts. I love about half my Pre plus- the software half. The hardware gets a little more sloppy every day. I was pumped to get a gander at a larger, more supported HP Pre. Doesn't look like I will get to either. Hope they do get WeBOS to a Samsung or LG in the next year which will at least try to do right by it on smartphones.

No doubt it is hard to overcome the hardware. My pre ( when I had sprint ) needed a warrenty; on my third pre plus from vzw. Touchstone inductive stand only way battery is usable.
Worst part? The pre2 is monumentally better hardware. Just no one knows because the pre3 was promised before the pre2 was for sale. I was moving mom onto family plan & she wanted pre only. Shrug.
So annoying to see os updates for tablets. Hp actually announced the 2.0 update for the plus...and then nothing.
Total honesty... If the pre3 beats the sgsII to the market. I would still give it a look.

I actually believe you on the Pre 2. HP puts out dependable hardware. They haven't been #1 in PC's, laptops, and notebooks due to putting out crap. That is why I was excited. Was willing to fall on my sword as far as apps went to get another WeBOS device with a usable keyboard, brighter more responsive screen and better reception. Stupid HP. Do hope the Pre 3 is a success in the markets it is released. Will encourage HP to give a little more love to the potential cash cow they now own...

Have you tried samsung bada os ?
That is a really good OS.
If you have not tried it yet, i reccomend you to buy one of the Samsung Wave phones with bada.

WebOS would have a fighting chance with this phone if they launched it on Verizon with LTE IMO.

There they go again, they keep delaying the release. If only they could have come up with at least 2 more smartphones in this year with slab/candybar form factor they would have a chance of competing in the market, but no all hope hinges on the pre 3 and its smaller counterpart veer.
Other manufacturers have already introduced small smartphones.
WebOS is good but the HP and delays make this a fail even before launch.

After two failed Pres they are still going with the same design?
