This phones already been more delayed than it should be.
Hope WebOS gets a chance. HP should license it to other manufacturers who can get some WebOS phones out fast.

That would be pretty deadly I think....the point of WebOS is that it works great with Palm smartphones in a similar way iOS works great with iPhones. Licensing it to other manufacturers would really harm the unique identity HP is trying to set up for their phones...again in a similar way apple does^^

Guess we will see. Cannot imagine the Pre 3 getting traction against all the big guns coming out in the next three months. Always next year, HP. At least you are supporting your tablets.

People who decry lack of webOS apps rarely have used a webOS device or browsed the app store. It's a common weakness highlighted in the tech press and a valid point, but the Pre has always had great games and wideopen support of the dev community by Palm, which appears to be continuing with HP. The use of the Konomi Code to throw you into dev mode is example of the playful openness that characterizes webOS. That tone carries over. I'm clearly a fan, but I use my Pre and Touchpad more for business. The seamless integration with the calendar, email and notifications alone is worth the price, and that's built-in.

Typed this on a Touchpad btw.

i used to be excited about this phone. if only this phone was released last year. it wouldve done so well as an unique competitor. i think what would make this phone perfect would be a 4 inch touch screen (it would make the already thin device that much thinner and more attractive) and have a 4.3 + inch bigger brother for those who don't want a keyboard. i don't like this small, medium, large thing they have going on with the veer (such a waste of time if you ask me). webos is too unique for lagging hardware
