From the looks of it, HP might soon announce a new tablet running Android. The device in question, labeled with a model number HSTNH-B15C, is now listed in the FCC's database, where a few bits of information are revealed. First and foremost, we seem to be dealing with a 10-inch slate here...

Talk about a plain looking tablet.

Meg Whitman at her best is still one of the the worst things to happen to HP. Introducing mediocre flagship products and the going price of top tier products won't cut it!

an HDMI output
two microUSB ports
4600 mAh battery (like 4-5 hours?)
1.5 centimeters thick (seriously?)
850/1900MHz GSM (what day and age is this?)
The stuff we don't know about.
Price (better be low)

They should have learned from the Slate. The thickness was one of the biggest turn-offs, as well as the overall quality. With an already impressive selection on the market nowadays, HP will need to do better if they expect to be taken as a serious competitor.
