During an event held in South Africa, an HTC official mentioned about having HD 1080p video recording and 5.1 surround sound in their future handsets...

Man, I may end up waiting even longer to get a WP7 device. I was planning to get one when my upgrade is available at the end of this year, but now I hear this!

Yeah, I may have to upgrade from Trouch Pro to Touch Pro2 now and then wait for one of the WP7 HTCs sporting HD video and 5.1 surround rather then get teh first WP7 / HTC available on Sprint...
