Green thumbers, rejoice - new myPlants app tells you what and when to water

For those of you into gardening, or simply having some apartment flora to take care of, myPlants is a new app that aims to make taking care of your flowers and other rooted life around the house a little bit easier.

Besides incorporating a vast catalog of plant species and subspecies with their respective descriptions, soil, sun and watering requirements, the app will tell you what kind of fertilizers the plants require, if at all, and do it all with pretty pictures so you don't accidentally water your cactus.

The usefulness of myPlants doesn't end here, though, as the app lets you bookmark your favorite flora, and even schedule a watering and maintenance calendar automatically about it. Check out myPlants if you've got that little green thumb on you.
