You DROPPED that precious phone? Don't you have it tethered into your veins with an IV? That's what I'll get you for Christmas then! :3

I had a customer look at my Droid the second day I had it in store, who then proceeded to "butterfingers" it and drop it right on the ground, screen first, on our hardwood floor. I've had two voyagers and an omnia break on me in similar cases, so I freaked out when I went to grab it... and the screen was perfect. It has since then fallen off my desk, down the stairs (Phone was ringing as I walked downstairs, grabbed it, slipped, fell down 10-12 stairs), been stepped on, and dropped by 2 other customers: Screen is still A Ok. I love this phone more and more everyday =D Great job Moto!

Also great job Corning. See, Corning's another company that's kinda floundered in recent years, and the people where I live have felt its impact. (I live near corning and work in a town that's practically melded with it called Painted Post.) They can use the publicity, really. So Motorola and Corning together are rising from the ashes. This makes me happy. :)

huh wow they should have been touting this from the begining... A co-worker has dropped and broke screens on 2 iphones within a month. A clutz I know, but these phones should be fairly protected. I know another co-worker that is baulking at getting droid because he drops is backberry getting out of the car all the time and is worried about the screen... Will have to pass this on.
