Wow really, google removes one app that is basically a trojan horse and does nothing but harm, and you automatically think that is even remotely comparable to apple removing thousands of apps that had any kind of "adult" content in them, which in most cases consisted of just pictures of a woman in swimsuits....Really...I mean really!!??

yeah i'm definitely going with @jp3_99 on this one. google was legitimately protecting their users from a security risk. apple was protecting people from boobs. i don't want to be protected from boobs.

I don't mind Google having the right to remove a potential threat to my personal information, likewise I would expect the same from Apple. On the other hand, Apple denies apps for unjustified reasons and remove apps for even worst reasons.

Kudos for google in using their power correctly. But this is the downside to an open platform. Hundreds downloaded before it was caught. And this guy wasn't malicious. The next time it could be a lot worse. Googles security proved enough this time but what about the next? One reason y I don't mind a closed method of app delivery(btw Bo this is not an iphone is better post, didn't even mention it).
