this Nexus is by all means future proof. you get a pure Google experience running on one of the most powerful processors in the game right now, it has 4G LTE and it has an HDSA display.

It's as future proof as you're going to get. To be honest, "future proof" can really only be whether or not it is 4g LTE capable or not. It is impossible for it to be the "top" phone for an entire year. New devices with better specs come out once a month it seems like. For example, the Razr was the "top" phone for a week before the Rezound came out with better specs, and when the Nexus comes out, it will have the best specs. In a few months the quad core phones will start coming out. By the end of next year we will have quad core phones with 15mp cams, and maybe even 1080p resolution displays (this one may take a little longer than a year). Your lucky if you have the "top" phone for 3-4 months. If only upgrades were every year instead of every 2. What they should do is offer phones at the "discount" rate regardless of how far into your contract you are, just as long as from that point you re-up for another 2 years, because its rare you are going to find a phone that will be relevant for 2 years. Hell, I'm still using the TP2, which was "top of the line" 2 YEARS AGO, and completely irrelevant by todays standards.

the Rezound doesn't have better specs than the Razr. they're DIFFERENT specs but not necessarily better. xD

The only thing that the Rezound has better of is screen resolution than the Droid RAZR and that is hardly noticable. Besides I\'ll take the SUPER AMOLED over Super LCD any day.

Not to mention I doubt the Rezound will get ICS anytime soon while the RAZR is already made for it. Same processor as the Galaxy Nexus and Motorola obviously is BFF\'s with Google now. Besides the RAZR has way better build quality than the Rozound and I doubt it has GGlass so it won\'t be able to take a hit.

Both devices are good but you will get overall better performance with the RAZR and overall usage. IMO the RAZR is the best android phone to date and once it gets ICS it will be better than the Galaxy Nexus.

I ordered mine for one freaking penny on amazon wireless. I can't wait to get the RAZR. Original RAZR was my first phone I owned. Droid was my first android phone I owned. Epic combo at a great deal

The Razr COULD have been the best phone once it gets ICS..

The big nock against it is that it doesn't have the new benchmark high resolution screen.

If the Razr had the same screen as the rezound, I don't think I'd have been able to hold off waiting for the PRIME.

belovedson- Did you own the HTC Incredible specifically? The issue was that most third-party (non-stock) apps somehow didn't have access to that 'emmc' folder where the phone's internal storage was located. Most .mp3 player apps did not read data from this folder and only detected music specifically on the SD card. I suppose this issue may have pertained only to the HTC Incredible, in which case I'm glad that it hasn't been a problem since that model.

I'm hoping there will be a way to connect to all your computer files remotely like how the Razr or iphone does, this way you don't have to put any music or video files directly on your phone and can save a butt load of storage space.
