doubt it

I thought Google mentioned this is only going to be available just for Android. Anyone know where that article is? To me that would make sense... Why would they give up an exclusive feature to there competitors? Wouldn't make sense.

i love google maps, for my droid it's awesome, i sold my garmin on ebay.

4. InstinctDemon posted on 23 Nov 2009, 15:03

So the Droid isn't that special?

5. vzw fanman posted on 23 Nov 2009, 15:07

yes it's awesome. definitley an iphone killer, imo.

I don't know about that, Very responsive and pretty fast, but the only thing that I have a hang up is the slider keyboard. Me likes them touchscreens! (and before you start, I know you can use the touchscreen as a keboard on the droid, but that's besides the point) and my Instinct s30 suits me fine! :)

So having an extra option on a phone that some people would use and some wouldn't yet still doesn't inhibit the use of the phone at all is bothersome? Damn motorola for giving this phone too many options... how dare they?!

12. vzw fanman posted on 23 Nov 2009, 17:14

i can type super fast on my droid.

13. E.N. posted on 23 Nov 2009, 17:41

Why should someone carry the extra weight, hold the extra thickness, pay for the extra parts if they don't plan on using it? If I don't like keyboards, I would enjoy the lighter weight, thinness, and cheaper price. That's why someone preople choose small cars over SUVs. They don't need/like/don't want to pay for the extra stuff. But I don't have a Droid, so it doesn't really matter.

14. InstinctDemon posted on 23 Nov 2009, 18:17

Yes, I would say it is. I don't have anything against the Droid. Just stated that I like the touch screens only, aren't I entitled to my opinion? Some people put A1 on their steaks and some don't. Different Strokes for Different Folks.

15. InstinctDemon posted on 23 Nov 2009, 18:26

I don't have the Droid either, My co-worker has the Droid and I've had the chance to see what it can do as stated before it's responsive and very fast. Just the keyboard me no likes.

16. Mayday3420 posted on 23 Nov 2009, 19:02

MY GOD people are babies. you can't lift that much weight without crying? and you think that is the only extra thing you're paying for on the droid? I swear a phone that has this much stuff and people complain it has too much stuff. MAN UP PEOPLE!!!!

18. InstinctDemon posted on 23 Nov 2009, 20:49

Hey the HTC HD2 tickles my fancy, and from what I hear its a little heavier than the Droid, nothing wrong with not liking the slideout keyboards. never said i was paying extra, for anything. Duuude! Droid is not all that you know.. sheesh people lighten up!

19. E.N. posted on 23 Nov 2009, 21:11

Hey, I don't have a Droid. I'm never going to buy one. I don't care at all for the phone. I was just giving an example. What idiot would but a phone with a keyboard knowing they will never use it? Why would you buy a ten bedroom house if you only plan on using one? Simple. That's the point I was trying to make. Open your mind.

That's one thing about WinMo, it's usually just a matter of time before someone found a way to do similar things on it.
