No matter how many tantrums Rotten Apple throws like a little girl, they're always going to come back to Google to bail themselves out when their customers wnat a certain features.
+1 to Google but seriously Google should just let the Apple drop :)

Great move by Google, they can keep their position in maps and Apple just can't do anything about it.

If Google puts their map app on Appstore I'm sure Apple will put a lot of restrictions to make the app much worse than Apple's own maps just like what they have been doing to Chrome.
