Nope. It's a Java IP patent issue. Oracle has to prove that the JIT Java compiler and other patented logic-based software code were used to create it and other Android core platforms. The folly of open source.

Whats the big deal? It's business. Everybody steals ideas and concepts from others and then puts a bow on it and calls it shiny, new and it's own. Android is no more 100% original than a fast food hamburger. But thats ok, cause Microsoft has pilfered ideas. Google has pilfered ideas. Apple has pilfered ideas etc......etc..... I'm sure even Larry Ellison & Oracle has pilfered a few over the years. You don't get to be one of the top 10 richest person's in the world worth over 20 billion without swiping a few things. This is all about ego. And Ellison is not short on that.

So does that mean Java isn't open source. I've always been taught that anyone could use jave to create. The Java program itse;f that has been created is unique to the company that created such program.
